Instruction

Background

The Asia-Pacific Research Center was re-established as a research institution affiliated with the Graduate School of International Studies on May 1st, 1997, after extending and reorganizing the Institute for Sino-Soviet Studies, established on September 1st, 1974, which had been a leading research institute for studies on socialist bloc countries.

Objectives

Research, provide information and education, publish, and conduct domestic and foreign academic exchanges on the Asia-Pacific region (China, Russia, Central Asia, Caucasus, North Korea, USA, Japan, APEC, etc.)
